- 3lbs organic apples, peeled and cubed
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- dash cardamom, optional
- dash salt, optional
- 1/2 cup water
- In a large saucepan, add all ingredients and cook on medium heat until bubbly, then put on low and simmer, stirring occasionally and mashing with a masher or fork.
- Cook until apples are cooked and its all saucy.
